After 15 rewarding years spent working for Fortune 500 companies, Margaret Batting felt it was time for a personal change — it was time to do something that combined her passion for fashion, education and well-being with her desire to inspire others to create positive change in their lives.
In 2008, Margaret launched Elevé, a corporate image communications business. As a Certified Image Consultant and Reach Personal Brand Strategist, Margaret specializes in non-verbal communication and professional image. She works with business of all shapes and sizes, showing employees how to represent their company in the best possible light and teaches entrepreneurs and business professionals how to align their image with their career. She works with high-profile companies such as CareerBuilder, Bank of America, Amgen, AAA and Staples.
Prior to launching her business Margaret was an advertising and process improvement executive at Staples, Inc. in Framingham, MA. She received her certifications from The Association of Image Consultants International, the London Image Institute and the Institute of Image Communications in NY. She received her Reach Personal Brand Strategist Certification from Reach Communications Consulting and holds a BA in Mass Communication from Boston University.
Margaret is the President of the New England Chapter of the Association of Image Consultants International (AICI), the world’s most prestigious image industry trade association. She also serves on the board of Dress for Success Rhode Island and on the board of overseers for the Providence Children’s Museum.
Margaret has been featured in an array of media outlets from NBC’s “The 10 Show” to Moremagaine.com. She writes a weekly column and serves as the Corporate Style Expert for GoLocalProv.com. Margaret is Rhode Island’s only certified Image Consultant and Reach Personal Brand Strategist. She lives in Barrington with her son Benjamin.
